Makes 12 servings.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. cranberries
  • 1 C apple juice
  • 1/3 C granulated sugar
  • 1/3 C brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. allspice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 C dried fruit, diced small
  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 pear, peeled and chopped
  • 1 orange, peeled and pureed
  • ¼ C pecans, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Cook juice and sugar in a large saucepan, until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Reduce heat, then add cranberries and spices.
  3. Mash roughly and add remaining ingredients.
  4. Simmer 20 minutes and chill overnight.
