Makes 12 servings.
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. cranberries
- 1 C apple juice
- 1/3 C granulated sugar
- 1/3 C brown sugar
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. allspice
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 C dried fruit, diced small
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 pear, peeled and chopped
- 1 orange, peeled and pureed
- ¼ C pecans, chopped
Instructions:
- Cook juice and sugar in a large saucepan, until the sugar dissolves.
- Reduce heat, then add cranberries and spices.
- Mash roughly and add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer 20 minutes and chill overnight.
