Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, ¾” thick
- 3 T. cornstarch
- 1 can Swanson seasoned beef broth with onion
- 1 T. soy sauce
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 2 C green or red pepper strips, fresh or frozen
- 4 C white or brown rice
Instructions:
- Slice beef into very thin strips.
- Mix cornstarch, broth, soy, and garlic.
- Stir-fry beef in non-stick skillet until browned and juices evaporate.
- Add peppers and then the cornstarch mixture.
- Cook, stirring until mixture boils and thickens.
- Serve over rice.
