Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 3 T. granulated sugar
- 12 wonton wrappers (3 oz.)
- 2 T. margarine, melted
- 3 T. cinnamon sugar
- ¾ C Cool Whip
- ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Toss strawberries with granulated sugar and water in a small bowl and set aside.
- Place wonton wrapper on a large cookie sheet and brush with margarine and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake wonton wrappers about seven minutes or until crisp and lightly browned, then transfer to wire rack to cool.
- Beat cream and vanilla just until stiff peaks form in a medium bowl with the mixer at medium speed.
- Assemble napoleons by placing one wonton wrapper on each of four plates.
- Divide one-third whipped cream and one-third berries with their syrup equally among four wontons, then repeat layering two more times.
