• 1 pint vanilla ice cream (Note 1)
  • ¼ C sweet marsala wine
  • 29 oz. pear halves in light syrup, drained
  • Mint sprigs, for garnish.


  1. Transfer ice cream to microwave-safe medium bowl.
  2. Heat in microwave oven on high about 10 seconds to soften ice cream slightly.
  3. Add marsala and stir until well combined.
  4. Spoon ice cream mixture into four dessert dishes.
  5. Top with top pear halves and garnish with mint sprigs to serve.

Note 1:

You can use alternative ice cream, like Tofutti or Rice Dream.
