Ingredients
- 3 sticks margarine
- 2 C sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- Salt, as needed
- 3 tsp. baking soda
- 4 T. cornstarch
- 1 ½ C oat flour
- 2/3 box of quick oats
- Chocolate chips, as needed
Instructions
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add vanilla and egg and mix.
- Combine dry ingredients and add, then mix.
- Add oat flour and quick oats in combination desired. (Note 1)
- Add chips and pack lightly, as if making snowballs, then flatten slightly onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
Note 1:
Less flour and more oats make chewier cookies.
