Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs venison or beef stew meat, cubed or thinly sliced
  • 8 carrots, sliced
  • 6 potatoes, sliced
  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • 2 T. minced onion
  • 2 C apple cider

Instructions:

  1. Place carrots, potatoes, and apples in crock-pot.
  2. Add stew meat and cook on low for 10-12 hours.
  3. Thicken with a little flour and water if thicker gravy is desired.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
